The Pittsburgh FireRescue & EMS Expo celebrates its 21st Anniversary offering exceptional hands on and lecture based training programs featuring nationally recognized instructors from around the country. This year we will also be adding lectures from talented locally known instructors to educate attendees in regional issues relating to our services. Our Training Program Coordinator, Assistant Chief James Crawford of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire, has over 30 years of experience in the fire service and teaches nationally at fire conferences sharing his knowledge. He has over 20 years of experience setting up training programs and promises this to be some of the best training that has ever been presented on a regional level. Chief Crawford is joined by Nicholas Sohyda, Fire Chief of the Mount Lebanon Fire Department who will be assisting with the training as the Assistant Program Coordinator. Chief Sohyda has been teaching at both local and national training events for over 10 years. He has over 20 years experience in the fire service.
